What is Kinetic Chain Release (KCR)?
Kinetic Chain Release (KCR), developed by Scottish Physiotherapist Hugh Gilbert, is a series of gentle mobilizations and stretches, carefully crafted to quickly and effectively bring about postural changes that correct the body's imbalances. KCR frees the human body of its physical and energetic blocks to return the body to its natural, dynamic, energized, active and lively state.
Who can benefit from KCR?
Everyone who is living in a physical body from the very young to the aged. KCR can have an amazing effect on people in the workplace, households, athletic performance, yoga studios, sports clubs, treatment centers and so much more.
What are some of the conditions that KCR has been shown to bring relief from?
A.D.D./A.D.H.D., behavioral disorders in children, bloating, breathing difficulty, carpal tunnel syndrome, runners knee, chronic back pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic groin strains, chronic menstrual pain, chronic neck pain, chronic stress, chronic wrist pain, concussion, Crohn's disease, depression, diabetes, jaw (TMJ) dysfunction, early menopause, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, insomnia, migraine headache, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, post-traumatic stress disorder, repetitive strain/overuse injuries, recurring hamstring or calf muscle issues, scoliosis, snoring/sleep apnea, sprained (weak) ankles, substance abuse, teeth clenching/grinding, tennis/golfer's elbow.
Who can learn KCR?
Anyone can learn KCR! This course is designed to accommodate both beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
Health and body workers can learn KCR to add another technique they offer to their patients. This course is approved by the NCBTMB for 15 CEU's.
Teachers, parents, family, and friends can learn how to help their loved ones at home.
How can I incorporate KCR into my massage/bodywork practice?
KCR can be used as a stand-alone treatment session for clients that you can add to your list of services. A KCR session can also be followed by any modality. Once the body returns to a balanced state through KCR, it enables the body to receive further bodywork much more effectively.
What will you learn?
You will learn the complete 23 step KCR protocol in a small group classroom setting with hands-on experience throughout the entire course.
What is the duration and cost of the course?
2 days (15 hands on hours)
