Introduction to Connective Tissue is the second required Foundation Course on the KCR Pathway to Bodywork Mastery.
In this two-day class you will learn how to expand your awareness and understanding of the connective tissue (myofascial) system, and its role in supporting physical function and well-being. There will be some physical techniques that you will learn, however, Introduction to Connective Tissue is a conceptual course. You will be introduced to a set of skills that will enhance your ability to identify connective tissue restrictions in your own body, as well as others, and support powerful healing. What sets our training apart is the combination of science-backed techniques with a heart-centered approach. Students learn to establish heart coherence with clients and practice intuitive methods that unlock deeper levels of healing. Many practitioners describe CTR as a complete paradigm shift that transforms their practice and makes sense of myofascial release for the first time.
This course lays the groundwork for more in-depth study and advanced techniques offered in subsequent training and is NCBTMB Approved for 14 ceu's.
